3 RF Switches For Face, Cheeks and Chin

RF switches provide critical functionality in a wide range of RF applications. They must be designed to minimize insertion loss, isolation degradation and power handling issues.

Bipolar RF is more effective than monopolar, since it passes through all skin layers and reaches the subcutaneous fat layer. It’s used in the face, cheek and chin area as well as on the neck and arms.

-6 Polar Radio Frequency + Vacuum Handle

The -6 Polar Radio Frequency + Vacuum Handle heats 3-Pole RF Handle up and emits red light and helps tighten the skin. It is a small handle that is utilized for areas like the Face, Cheeks and Chin.

The photon handle mainly uses the thermal energy effects of the RF to contact the dermis layer, promote collagen regeneration, achieve skin lifting, skin firming and reduce wrinkles effect. It is mainly used around the eyes, face cheek, chin and forehead.

Bipolar RF focuses on the area of tissue between two poles, which can reach the fat layer 20mm below the skin. This is an important difference from tri-polar RF, which only delivers the current through the surface of the skin. This is also the same type of technology used in professional RF facials.

-Bi-Polar Radio Frequency Handle

The bi-polar RF handle uses two parallel electrodes with a grounding pad attached to the client’s back. The current is passed through the electrodes and returned to the generator. The current passes through all skin layers, reaching a depth of up to 20mm in the subcutaneous fat layer. This configuration delivers a more controlled or localised energy distribution than monopolar RF devices and is therefore less uncomfortable.

Unlike unipolar devices, which pass the current from one electrode into the skin, bi-polar devices allow the operator to choose the active and inactive electrode pairings. This enables the operator to target specific dermal structures and achieve a more defined and precise effect, compared to monopolar applicators.

A more sophisticated RF treatment is the surgical RF body tightening that is conducted under anaesthesia and focuses on the loose and sagging areas of the body, such as the stomach, arms, legs and buttocks. It requires more intensive treatments and a longer recovery period.

This procedure involves the removal of a small amount of the outer layers of skin, which is then tightened and lifted with the help of a special belt that holds the skin in place while the underlying tissue heals. The resulting skin is firmer, tighter and smoother, and the results can be long-lasting. This technique is most suitable for patients with mild to moderate sagging of the skin.

-Hot Hammer

The hot and cold hammer facial function is a brilliant one each side simultaneously holds a vastly different temperature so the aesthetician can quickly switch between hot application for muscle relaxation, skin pore opening and circulation stimulation and cool for tightening of the pores and reducing wrinkles. It is recommended to use this treatment after a Diamond Dermabrasion or Micro Needling.

The hammer works sub-sensory so clients feel nothing apart from the relaxing cold or hot plate pushed against their face. The cold hammer contracts the pores, improves lymphatic drainage and reduces acne or rosacea while the hot hammer opens the pores, increases blood circulation underneath the skin, and helps remove blackheads and whiteheads. It also relaxes the muscles, which reduces stress and tension, whilst smoothing wrinkles and crow’s feet.

The hammer is also ideal for treating active acne or inflammatory conditions, especially when used in conjunction with the ice cube feature which cools the skin, reduces inflammation and reduces redness of the skin. During a treatment the hot and cold hammer can be switched between the two, which can provide excellent results for clients with sensitive skin. The cold hammer can be particularly effective after waxing, peels, microdermabrasion and exfoliation treatments, as it can help contract the pores, which may have become stretched or open following these procedures.

-Cold Hammer

The Cold Hammer is a hammer shaped attachment that 3-Pole RF Handle has hot on one side and cold on the other. When used on the face, it provides heat acting on the muscles relaxing them and opens the pores. It also reduces inflammation, soothes itchy skin and promotes elasticity. The cold side of the hammer shrinks capillary blood vessels, which helps reduce wrinkles and crow’s feet.

All Tikka barrels are cold hammer forged for accuracy. This process starts with a steel blank that has a polished hole in the middle. A hardened mandrel that’s a mirror image of the desired rifling pattern is then inserted into this bore and the two are placed in a machine that physically hammers the barley to the desired shape.

While button or cut rifling machines have to start with holes that are smaller than their finished size, the cold hammer forged process starts with blanks that are about 20% larger than their final size. This makes reaming much easier.

All Tikka barrels are hammer forged, as well as the muzzle crown, to ensure geometrical uniformity and consistency. This results in a rifled bore with extremely tight tolerances that don’t need to be “broken in” to achieve accurate performance. This is the reason many serious long-distance shooters choose to use CHF rifles. It also makes them easier to reload, which means lower costs and less waste.
